During December at La Galleria in Pall Mall, London, Redman-Holmes are holding an exhibition pf original prints by Royal Mail artists printed on Hahnemuehle museum quality fineart paper.

Press Release:

Redman-Holmes are staging another collaborative exhibition at their favourite art gallery in London’s Pall Mall, running from 10th December 2009 – 22nd December 2009.

To broaden the scope of this show they have invited some other distinguished artists to join them. David Holmes has just designed a postage stamp for the 2012 Olympic games.

This will be issued in a collection of 10 different stamps on October 24th 2009. In order to maintain the same high standard, other artists who have previously been commissioned to design postage stamps for the Royal Mail have also been invited to exhibit and sell their work, choosing up to 5 different subjects each.

The artists/illustrators and photographers who have been asked to exhibit include: Andrew Davidson, Brian Grimwood, George Hardie, Clare Melinsky, Arthur Robins, Paul Slater, Christopher Wormell etc.

Apart from the original, all of these prints will be for sale in a signed, numbered and strictly limited edition of 30 and will cost £125 each unframed for no's 1-10, £175 each for no's 11-20 and £250 each for no's 21-30 on a first come first served basis.

All of the work will be printed on Hahnemuehle museum quality fineart paper at 297mm x 420mm and using the latest Epson Stylus Photo R2880 printers - a combination which guarantees excellent quality and longevity.

The show opens to the public on Thursday 10th December 2009 and closes on Tuesday 22nd December 2009.
