RHS Photographer Of The Year Awards Winners - The winners for the RHS Photographer of the year and young photographer of the year have been announced.

The winners of the RHS Photographic competition have been announced.
This year’s winner is Josie Elias, with her image called ‘Beneath the Olive Tree’. Out of thousands of entries from around the world, the stunning image of an olive tree surrounded by tulips wins Josie Elias first prize of £1000.
James Arnold, the competition organiser, says: “We have had a record number of entries this year, doubling figures from last year. The judges have been astounded by the extraordinary quality of the images which people have produced from all over the world; it’s simply breathtaking and very difficult to choose a winner.”
The RHS Young Photograper of the Year was also crowned, and that accolade went to Alex Berryman, for his image ‘Jouvenile Robin’.
Keen gardeners and kids' TV presenters Dick and Dom joined the RHS panel of judges and have supported the competition this year to encourage more young people to get creative outdoors. Dom says: “The competition is a great opportunity for young people to get outside and explore nature, while doing something creative. Well done to Alex, he really has done a smashing job.”
