The flagship camera in the company's digital range, the new model features a 2.1 million pixel resolution and a zoom lens equivalent to 38-115mm. The lens is fitted with aspherical elements to give razor-sharp results. Additionally there is a 2x digital zoom function and 20-80mm macro function for focusing at close range.
The key operating features of the Digimax 210SE include autofocus, with a range from 80cm to infinity, an optical viewfinder, auto exposure, and a variety of flash functions including fill-in, flash-off, auto flash and red-eye reduction.
The camera is fitted with a 1.8inch colour LCD monitor for previewing and reviewing shots, as well as a self-time function. Images are recorded at resolutions up to 1620 x 1220 pixels on removable CompactFlash cards, with an 8Mb card included in the price - around 400.
