Samsung have added a range of models to their digital camera range. In addition they've also announced a new battery pack and a waterproof casing.
Sleek and stylish, the Digimax 101 is a 1.3 mega pixel digital camera with a 2 x digital zoom. This compact and lightweight camera is the entry level model of Samsungs new range of digital cameras, and boasts a multitude of useful features. These include a Reverse Galilean optical viewfinder and a 1.6 colour TFT-LCD monitor for preview and review with multi languages. It can record movie clips, the limit only dependent on the available memory capacity and it also has an NTSC/PAL video output. Aside from numerous flash modes the D 101 has a selectable ISO sensitivity (Auto,100,200) and adjustable white balance to help capture images in their best light. The D 101 camera is powered by two AA batteries and is compatible with CR-V3. Images are stored on an internal 8M flash memory or an external SD,MMC card. Images can be printed straight from the card without needing to download to a PC, thanks to the DPOF feature.
The Digimax 201 is a 2.0 mega pixel digital camera with a 2X digital zoom. Shots can be set up via the real image optical viewfinder or the 1.6 colour TFT-LCD monitor, which is also great for preview and review and has multi languages. The D 201 also has a movie clip facility to capture the action in motion. The capacity is dependent on available memory. Numerous other features for great results are a selectable ISO sensitivity (Auto,100,200), adjustable White Balance and five flash modes. The camera is powered by two AA batteries and images are stored on an internal 8MB flash Memory or an external SD,MMC card. It also has a DPOF function that enables images to be printed without being downloaded to a PC.

Very compact and lightweight with an attractive and modern body, it has a 1.6' TFT-LCD monitor for preview and review with multi languages. Other features include a movie clip function for capturing motion and a recording capacity that is limited only by the amount of memory available. Images can also be played back on an external monitor or TV via the NTSC/PAL video output. Images can look their best thanks to 6 x Flash modes, adjustable White Balance and a selectable ISO sensitivity (Auto,100,200,400) The D 240 is powered by two AA batteries and is compatible with CR-V3. Images are stored on an internal 8M flash memory or an external SD,MMC card. There is also a DPOF function so that images can be printed without first downloading them to a PC.
This product is compatible with both the Samsung Digimax 340 and 410. The Digimax Battery Pack is ahead of its time. Thanks to the Li-ion power source, it provides you with much more power than normal AA batteries. It recharges in just 90 minutes. Its impressive life-cycle ensures that it can be recharged over 1000 times and clever technology means that it is memory free so it can be topped up at any stage. Three models (6V, 5V and 3V) mean than the Digimax battery Pack is widely compatible and can be used with nearly all brands of digital camera and PDA.
