Samsung appoint Nick White of Digital Imaging

Samsung Electronics UK, a leader in innovation and digital imaging today announced the appointment of Nick White as Head of the Digital Imaging division. Nick will oversee all product areas including compact cameras, compact system cameras (the NX series) and camcorders.

Nick White, who reports directly to Robert King, Sales Director for Samsung Electronics has joined Samsung from Fujifilm. He will be responsible for growing Samsung’s strong market-leading position as well as strengthening its brand across all sales channels in 2011 and beyond.

Andy Griffiths, Vice President of Consumer Electronics, Samsung UK Ltd commented on the appointment: “Nick brings with him a wealth of experience of the Imaging industry at a UK and international level. His reputation in the photographic industry means he is well-suited to head up our Digital Imaging division and I look forward to working with him closely as we grow our business with our existing and potential customer base.”

Nick has over seven years experience in the photography industry working across a variety of categories within the photographic marketplace. During his career at FujiFilm he was General Sales Manager of Fujifilm’s Digital Imaging Division.
