Samsung claim EISA Award with EX1 - Samsung EX1 awarded European Advanced Compact Camera by the EISA panel.

The European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) today announced that the Samsung EX1 has been awarded European Advanced Compact Camera 2010-2011 as part of this year’s accolades from the EISA panel.
The Samsung EX1, a robust and easy to use camera, comes loaded with professional features housed within a sleek grey or black casing. Its ultra-wide 24mm F1.8 Schneider KREUZNACH lens with 3x zoom ensure that every moment is captured and the 3 inch swiveling AMOLED screen makes navigation clear and simple.
Steve Mitchell, General Manager, Samsung Digital Imaging said, “We’re delighted to win this award from the EISA. The launch of the EX1 demonstrates the rapid development of the Samsung brand in the digital imaging arena. We have been able to pack a range of professional features into the EX1 and are delighted with the popularity of the model and the reception it has had from consumers.”
“We’re pleased the EISA has recognised the Samsung EX1 as this year’s Best Advanced Compact Camera. It adds to our collection of sleek, compact solutions which deliver outstanding shots time and time again.”
The 10 megapixel Samsung EX1, designed specifically with advanced and enthusiast photographers in mind, includes a high-performance imaging sensor and unrivaled sensitivity (max ISO 3200 / full-resolution), usually not found in a compact camera of this size, making it possible to capture a range of images in all conditions. With the additional ability to shoot in RAW and rapid setting adjustment, with a Front Wheel Key and Dual Dial, the Samsung EX1 is equipped for all occasions.
Since its inception in 1982 the EISA, a unique association of 50 special interest magazines from across Europe, has grown to a membership of 50 influential audio, video and photo magazines drawn from 20 European Countries.
