The latest firmware upgrades for the NX10 (v1.30) and NX100 (v1.10) should help users take impressive shots more easily thanks to the i-Function setting help guide now appearing on the cameras.

The upgrade also brings a Panorama function to the Scene Modes, the video Auto Focus is improved and all the features upgraded in the update now function faster and more quietly.

Mr. Hyunho Chung, Executive Vice President and Head of the Digital Imaging Business, Samsung Electronics, commented: "We continually look for ways to improve the photography experience, to make it more fun and add value for our customers. The latest upgrade is reflective of this. Users of the NX system already benefit from key features such as compact portability of the devices, and innovations like the i-Function lens. Through ongoing developments, we hope to offer even more to enable photographers of all levels to get the best results and professional-looking pictures every time. We look forward to announcing a number of additional developments in the future to make the NX range even easier for our customers to use."
