Samsung's mission to find as many David Baileys as possible has culminated in a meeting of all the David Baileys in London.
David Bailey and 143 of his namesakes came together in London to show that photography is not just something for professionals to enjoy.
To kick start this photography revolution, Samsung gave each of the David Baileys a new NX1000 camera, featuring super-fast shutter speeds for action images, built in wi-fi for immediate sharing and an i-Function lens system, challenging them to use it and create amazing images that the David Bailey would be proud of. A selection of the best images will then be used in Samsung’s unique advertising campaign for the NX range.
The David Baileys, who include everything from painters and DJs, to a Priest and an amateur astronomer aged between 15 and 74 will be given a series of weekly online photography assignments designed to help them improve their photography and capture their daily life in stunning images that will make their everyday extraordinary.
