Sanyo Announce new Eneloop Pro and Plus Batteries

Sanyo (Panasonic) has announced a new set of Eneloop Pro and Plus rechargeable batteries - the Pro model is rated at 2400mah, approximately 25% higher capacity than regular eneloop batteries (the battery that comes pre-charged and holds it's charge longer than regular Ni-Mh batteries), and the Plus model features a new overheat protection circuit, and is rated at 1900mah, which they say is especially suitable for toys. Expect to see them somewhere near you shortly, however, for the time being these have been announced as available for Japan only - the Pro model is already available in Europe as the Eneloop XX (rated at 2500mah).
