The new DigiCam IDC-1000Z has a 730Mb photo magneto optical memory disk that measure juts 5cm and can capture up to 12,000 stills at the 640x480 pixel mode. It s also capable of recording two hours of moving images at the 15fps mode or eight minutes at broadcast quality 30fps.
Alex Lungley, senior product manager for Sanyo says, Sanyo has always seen the holy grail of digital photography as a product that allows the capture of continuous moving digital image as well as the ability to print out any frame of a movie clip. Now with the iDshot we have achieved this
By shooting a movie at 30fps it is now possible to print out any one of these 30 individual frames, and its 20Mb per second dat transfer rate means you won t be kept waiting when taking or reviewing the results of your photography or moving images. He added.

The iDshot offers timelapse recording and animation modes for creative users and the camera could be used to record up to 24 hours of voice dictation bringing it in to the business arena.
There s a 3x optical zoom with a 21x digital, shutter speed control up to 1/500sec and a variety of exposure modes.
It has USB and Firewire interface and comes with Adobe Premier 5.1LE and MGI Photosuite III SE.
Users see the camera as a hard drive on the computer so images can be edited directly on the camera rather than having to download them.
