The Olympus XZ-1 now comes in silver, with a new special lens cap which opens and closes
automatically as the camera powers on and off.

Black LC-63A lens cap

The silver XZ-1 is available for £399.99 from mid-December 2011. The black LC-63A lens cap costs £24.99 and will be available in January 2012.

So where does the lens cap go when the camera is switched on ?

The only obvious spot is between the lens barrel and casing.

Google: Panasonic LX5 JJC lens cap, and in images you'll see how these work. Ricoh had one years ago, available for the GX200.
