Just about sums up Sony, If you go by American prices this camera should retail here at around £850.00. So the brits get dumped on again.

I am a big 7D user, but is that camera worth that amount of money.

Sounds a little expensive for a 7D replacement. Can't wait until they announce the A900!

So:

UK £999 from Warehouse Express
US $1399.95, £682.43 from B&H Photo
CHINA 9500CNY, £618.49 - from Best Buy (as in the US company). And the local techno mall will go lower . . . .

I know there are sales taxes in the UK, but even so, why does the UK not seem to get a fair deal? Grrrgh. I'm licky I can get it here but would not be able to justufy if living in the UK. May hang in for an A900 as well!

Ben
