Groovy mice get funky - Sony have brightened their PC Accessories range with two optical mice for travellers
Sony Europe’s IT Peripherals division today announced the addition of two sleek, new mice to its PC accessories product range. The SMU-C3, a two-colour optical USB desktop mouse offers a wide scroll-wheel and integrated wire storage so it packs down for travelling. Alternatively the SMU-M10 has a slimmer, more compact design with a built-in groove allowing the user to wrap the USB cable around the device for transport.
Both products are Microsoft Windows Vista compatible, include an 800 dpi sensor for precision control and USB connectivity for driver-less, ‘plug and play’ operation. The SMU-C3 series comes in four different colours – pink, green, white and black – and at 3 cm deep is slightly smaller than the average desktop mouse. However, the adjustable cord allows for tangle-free transportation and tidy storage, while the wide scroll-wheel provides swift navigation through documents and presentations. At only 1.5 cm deep and with an anti-scratch UV paint coating, the SMU-M10 is designed with the frequent traveller and their laptop bag firmly in mind. A unique, built-in groove allows the user to wrap the USB cable around the device so it doesn’t get tangled in transport. The SMU-M10 comes in three different colours – blue, black and white.
Andrew Barrow, Senior Product Manager for PC Accessories, Sony Europe’s IT Peripherals division comments; “With the design of the SMU-C3 and SMU-M10 we have responded to the current trends of the market and created products which directly respond to the increasing needs of the mobile worker. We have recognised that PC accessories must match this trend for compact design and mobility and we have created a range of products to complement this.”
Both products are compatible with Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2000 and later, and MAC OS X Version 10.2 and later.
