Sony have expanded their range of Cyber-shot cameras with the 20x zoom WX300, 50x zoom HX300 and the tough TX30.

Sony say the Cyber-shot WX300 is the world's smallest, lightest1
digital camera with a 20x optical zoom range.
It features a Sony G Len, Optical SteadyShot, Active Mode, built in Wi-fi and the autofocus is now approximately 3.6x quicker3
than the Cyber-shot HX20V, when fully zoomed in. You'll also get around 500 photos5
from a single battery charge.
Sony Cyber-shot HX300
Packed into the DSLR-style body of the Cyber-shot HX300 is Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T* lens that has a 50x optical zoom range. The T* coating on lens surfaces cuts reflections and 'flare', while Super ED and ED glass elements minimise chromatic aberration.
The HX300 features newly-enhanced Optical SteadyShot, an ergonomic grip, intuitively-placed controls and a new 'Multi Terminal' interface that allows intelligent communication between the camera and a growing range of shooting accessories.
Sony Cyber-shot TX30
The Cyber-shot TX30 features a 5x optical zoom and is waterproof to a depth of 10 meters, is Dust-proof and can survive in temperatures down to -10 degrees C2
. It also has a Magnifying Glass Plus mode which allows you to zoom right in and magnify4
All three cameras feature an Exmor R CMOS sensor, Shoot HD video as well as stills, have a Superior Auto mode, various picture effects and Advanced Flash that boosts the camera's sensitivity.
The new Sony Cyber-shot HX300 will be available in the UK from March, and the WX300 and TX30 from April 2013. We have contacted Sony to confirm the RRPs of the new compacts.
