Grand Master and Olympus Ambassador Damian McGillicuddy is helping photographers to understand lighting and realise their own potential in a 'Speedlight 101' lighting course.
The workshop, which is suitable for photographers of all levels, will show attendees how to manipulate, modify and control speedlights both 'on' and 'off' camera.
Olympus says: "Gain the knowledge that will let you make your speedlight the most creative tool in your camera bag. Being able to control and bend light to your creative will is one of the great secrets of the trade that will help you make your photography stand out from the crowd. Off camera flash (OCF) can seem scary and as if it is a hidden dark art, but with the right guidance, learning the art is straight forward and dare we say, easy."
Those wishing to attend need to bring along the following items: DSLR or Micro Four Thirds camera, a small selection of lenses and a speedlight.
The course, which takes place on Saturday 8 February 2014 at Oakbase House, runs from 10:30 - 16:30 and is priced at £145.
