Spicer Hallfield, the company well known for producing image presentation products will be closing and it could be as soon as this Friday.

Steve p, one of ePHOTOzine's members contacted the company to check on his sample album when the customer services person told him they would be shutting down Friday. The news of the 40-year-old firm shutting was then confirmed by a second person who he was put through to.

I do hope I get my album still,” said Steve.

When ePHOTOzine phoned Spicer Hallfield we too were told by a customer services advisor that yes, they are closing, but they don't know when.

This comes after talks with RBS failed and administrators were appointed to find a buyer back in April.

We are currently waiting for an official response from Spicer Hallfield.

I posted last week that Warehouse Express were making people redundant and the thread was taken down by a moderator and I was told that as WEX advertised on here they had to be careful. Well they laid off nearly half their sales staff yesterday but still nothing I guess Spicer Hallfield don't pay them enough.

Yeah I heard this too but found a great alternative company for Slip in Folders and Strut Mounts. They have a great offer too with FREE blocking and block on folders and strut mounts. See them at Link removed by ePHOTOzine staff Hannah is great help. I bought the Topaz New Black folder and the Black strut mount. Has anyone used their wedding albums as I also need a supplier for these?
