The National Union of Journalists (NUJ) is concerned that “heavy handed policing” could hamper journalists covering the protests against the G20 summit.
The Union has emergency numbers members can ring during the summit to get advice or even representation from solicitors.
Any members who are paid up and need help can ring the NUJ's legal department on 020 7843 3721 between 9.30am and 5.30pm on the 2nd April. Outside of this time members should call John Toner on 07710 314593.
