Gary Fong Lightsphere™ wins Best Professional Accessory
The SWPP members have spoken and they've picked the Gary Fong Lightsphere as the best professional accessory.

Press Release:

The Society for Wedding & Portrait Photographers (SWPP) members voted the innovative Gary Fong Lightsphere on-camera flash diffusion system as their Best Professional Accessory for 2009.

Amongst stiff competition, Lightsphere took the award, voted for by the photographic community, at the SWPP Product Awards Night on 16th January.

Jennifer Lister, Director/Owner of BBJ Imports Ltd said: "It is wonderful to pick up this award as it reflects the opinions of the many photographers who have enjoyed the benefits that Lightsphere gives them. I must thank the SWPP members for their support and I know that Gary and his team in the US will be as thrilled as we are to win this. Our industry thrives on innovation and innovators. It is tremendous that unique and genuine products get supported and encouraged in this way."

That is funny because a quick search found a thread on this website where wedding photographers were saying that no real wedding photographer would be seen dead using one.

No.

What is funny is that the members of the SWPP are considered "professional", when the only professional credential required to join is the ability to pay.

Very true. Technically your cat could become a Swampy.

She tried Dave, but the lack of opposable thumbs means that she keeps messing up her application. Wink
