A fourth lens for the successful Bronica RF-645 Rangefinder camera has just been announced by Bronica, Japan.
Developed exclusively for the RF-645, the world's first 6x4.5 format rangefinder camera with interchangeable lenses, the new Zenzanon RF100mm lens provides excellent image quality by efficiently and precisely compensating for aberrations.
"Variation Gauss Type" based on the symmetrical optical configuration has been adopted for the optical system, which contributes to making the overall dimensions of the lens relatively smaller by shortening the length and portioning power to the front and back groups. This type of optical system is widely incorporated in the current Zenzanon P Series lenses for the 6x6 system.
The RF100mm carries a suggested retail price of 499.99 and will be available from April 2002.
