The Guardian Unseen Britain Photography Competition in association with Sony

Unseen Britain is an innovative campaign by Sony to encourage digital SLR photography fans to capture the intrinsic beauty if our country from unusual angles.

Send us your shot of Unseen Britain and win a Sony α700 Digital SLR camera and full kit worth approx £1,300.

During the Unseen Britain tour, climber and photographer Mike Robertson will be capturing images of Britain that have never been seen before.

"For me it's an incredibly exciting project; the opportunity to capture images that no-one has ever been able to take before," says Robertson.

Now, with your feet firmly planted on the ground we want you to capture your Unseen Britain and share the shots with us.

Your images can be taken from unexpected angles, new interpretations of familiar scenes, or something completely unexpected.

The most inspired entry will win a full Sony α700 Digital SLR camera kit including body and DT 16-105mm lens, all worth approx £1300.

Entries will be judged by a panel including:

• Kate Edwards, Guardian Weekend magazine picture editor
• Mike Robertson, leading climbing photographer
• Paul Genge, Sony UK

The best entries will be published online, in a Sony Unseen Britain advertisement feature in Guardian Weekend magazine on February 17 2008 and will be used for an exhibition hosted by Sony.
