The Guardian Weekend magazine and Windows XP launch new photography competition - The theme of the competition is 'Passion' and it will be judged in 3 categories - portrait, reportage and fashion. The overall winner will walk away with 5000 and a commission to be published in the Guardian Weekend magazine in May.
The three winning images, plus 25 other commended entries, will be displayed in an exhibition at the Proud Gallery in central London from 7-20 April. Dozens of entries will also be displayed in an exhibition at the Guardian's online gallery.
The competition is open to amateur and professional photographers aged 16 and over. To enter complete the entry form in the Weekend magazine or visit www.guardian.co.uk/weekendphotoprize where entrants can print and complete a digital entry form in a matter of minutes. The closing date for the competition is Wednesday 1 March and winners will be announced on 6 April.
