After the success of the London Street Photography Festival in 2011, the photography festival is back, this time with a new name.
The London Festival of Photography Prize gives photographers the opportunity to submit projects for inclusion in a world-class exhibition celebrating the annual festival theme. The Prize includes a photo-series category and a photo-film category.
The prize is calling for photographic essays, documentaries and conceptual projects that relate to the 2012 London Festival of Photography theme, InsideOut: Reflections on the Public and the Private.
All finalists will appear in a major exhibition in King's Cross and two selected winners will win £1,000 each and a trip to London for the opening.
The prize is open to all photographers aged 18+, anywhere in the world. The deadline for entries is 29 March 2012 and there is an entry fee.
