Throughout June 2012, the London Festival of Photography will be taking over places across London with a focus in King's Cross, Bloomsbury and Fitzrovia.
Highlights of the festival include the unseen Gaddafi photo archive, new work by Simon Roberts and Magnum photographers Chris Steele-Perkins and Martin Parr, and a masterclass with 2011 World Press Photo Winner Jodi Bieber.
The festival will be comprised of 18 exhibitions and 40 events, including workshops, talks and screenings. Exhibitions will vary in style and theme and they will be free to attend unless otherwise stated.
Tickets for the event, of which 50,000 visitors are expected to attend, go on sale on 1 April 2012. The festival opens its doors to the public on Friday 1 June in time for the Diamond Jubilee long weekend.
