Wedding Photographer's Starter Kit iOS App Performance
It's not so much an app, more a reference guide, but a great guide at that and really easy to use. From the home splash page, right through to the checklists, you will see familiar icons running across the bottom of each page. This makes it easy to navigate back to any section quickly, which is vital if you are going to use this while at the wedding for quick reminders. The navigation is split into the four essential areas, plus the home (welcome) page.
In the Photography section you first see a list of 40 scenarios and when you click on any of those you are taken to a page with an example photo and how it was created. There's enough info to help you do the same without being over technical or boring. The downside is that in some aspects the info is shallow. For example, there are several brilliant photos showing the use of off camera flash, but no guide explaining the exposure aspects and balancing with daylight or flash settings.
The business section is more about how to organise yourself as a wedding photographer. It covers everything from the sales and marketing aspects (including social media) through to finer aspects of wedding planning and building your business. Again each tip is short and to the point.

The two checklists are really helpful to make sure you have all the right gear with you and that you take the right photos. These two pages are just lists. The guys missed a trick here. It would be good to be able to go through and tick the items you've packed/done so they change colour and you know what's left to pack/do. I would expect that from an App.
Wedding Photographer's Starter Kit iOS App Verdict
The Wedding Photographer's Starter kit is well worth installing on your mobile device. Even if you only find one nugget of info useful (and we're sure you'll find more), at just £1.49 it will be worth it. Some of the tips are a little shallow and as an app it would have been good to see the checklists working as real checklists, but other than that it's a worthwhile tool, that's really easy to use.![]() |

Useful checklist this App provides for I wonder if it can guess how the long the couple would be happily married for.
So, this is what wedding photography has been reduced to now?
"Get the right kit and the right app and you can start off as a wedding photographer"?
And epz are giving this house room?... Shame on you!
