The Widescreen Centre offer DVD transfer service -
The Widescreen Centre are now offering a service for the transfer of Standard-8 (regular-8), Super-8 and 16mm to the growing popular playback format of DVD.
They can also produce DVD copies from any existing VHS or S-VHS video tape, in addition to the three film gauges detailed above. Taking advantage of modern technology you have a choice of either 'Digital Quality' with a maximum running time of either 30--minutes or 60-minutes, or what the Widescreen Centre term 'Very Good Quality' with running times of either 90 or 120-minutes.
These transfers have been exhaustively tested on current DVD players from Panasonic, Sony, Pioneer, Philips and Marantz. However the Widescreen Centre warn that equipment playback cannot be automatically guaranteed.
