Internet and mail order photographic supplier Robert White are now offering a smart little accessory to Leica cameras.

Thumbs Up is an ergonomic grip that slots into the M8's hot shoe and provides a positive, well-balanced grip to the otherwise slippery Leica. M8 owners using Thumbs Up report being able to take hand-held shots 1-2 stops slower than previously, providing consistently sharper pictures.

The grips fit other M series cameras including M6, MP, M4 and M3 but not the M7 or M6 TTL because of their flash sync socket positioning.

There are a variety of models and sizes to suit any style and size of photographer with prices from £67 to £85 plus VAT.
