Travel Photography Summer School - The Farncombe Estate in Broadway Worcestershire is hosting a Summer School for budding photographers to learn from Britains top Travel Photographers.

The summer school will take place from the 20th - 27th August 2006 and will be an excellent opportunity for anyone who wishes to pursue photography for work or leisure, in digital or on film. Positioned in the beautiful and famous Cotswold hills, the Farncombe Estate provides the perfect location to get some fantastic shots with expert advice. The courses will be run by two experienced, professional but fun-loving tutors; Chris Coe and Nick Meers, both of whom have amazing photography portfolios and are among the best in the business.

The courses include: The WOW Factor all about great images, how to compose them and how to create impact; Photo Brief aimed at those who want to earn a living from stock or commissioned photography; Natural Light, Shoot Film a course for film users that goes through the benefits of using film and shows how to get the best out of it; Shoot, Edit, Print - the digital process, covering everything from taking the picture to arriving at the final print.

Chris Coe is the founder of the prestigious international Travel Photographer of the Year competition, which he established after years of working in the travel industry, in order to give more recognition to talented travel photographers around the world. His own work has been widely published in newspapers, magazines and books and his clients include major multinational companies. Chris has shot over 40 travel and coffee table books and his first book on photography,

The Art of Landscape Photography' is widely used as a reference work. Chris lectures on a variety photographic subjects, including travel, landscape and stock photography, at major conferences and events such as Focus on Imaging, Adobe Live and the Daily Telegraph Adventure Show and has also presented photographic features for TV.

Co-tutor Nick Meers has shot over 30 travel books, many architectural and garden locations for the National Trust, and given many workshops and masterclassesin England and the USA. His work has been published in a wide variety of media, and he has written many articles for photographic magazines. He is an integral part of the Travel Photographer of the Year competition and has a passion for encouraging budding photographers.

Under the guidance and expert tuition of these experts, students will develop their photography skills in a wide range of areas and will leave with a fantastic portfolio of their own.
