Two new 35mm compacts from Olympus -
The Olympus Superzoom 70G and 80G both feature a slim, contemporary design. The Superzoom 70G and 80G are both equipped with high-performance lenses [38-70 mm and 38-80 mm respectively] and include aspherical lens elements. In place of a fixed focussing mechanism a new 464-step autofocus system provides flexibility for image composition.
Furthermore, to prevent the disappointment of blurred images the shutter release will lock if a subject is not within the minimum focusing distance. The flash system of the Superzoom 70G and 80G offer five versatile flash modes. In addition to an Auto flash function, which fires automatically in low or backlight conditions, a comprehensive choice of manual flash modes should provide optimum illumination whatever the lighting conditions.
