Ulead update their packaging and website - Ulead have announced that they have revamped their packaging and Web site with a consumer-friendly look to appeal to new digital media technology consumers.
Analysts predict that the use of digital media technology, from digital cameras to DVD players, will increase significantly over the next few years. Worldwide demand for digital camcorders is expected to grow from 8.1 million in 2001 to 12.8 million in 2004. At the same time, worldwide demand for digital cameras is expected to grow 300% from 17.7 million in 2001 to 53.9 million in 2006. And as the fastest growing consumer electronics product in history, DVD player sales will reach new heights with worldwide shipments expected to increase approximately three-fold from 15 million in 2000 to over 60 million in 2004.*
Ulead will implement the new packaging with the launch of PhotoImpact 8, the latest version of their award-winning image editing software which ePHOTOzine is currently reviewing. PhotoImpact 8 will be available, at a Recommended Retail Price of 89, in retail from October 1st and from the Ulead online store, www.ulead.co.uk, from September 25th. The new corporate packaging will gradually replace Ulead's existing yellow boxes as new products and product versions are introduced.
