Unomat back on the market - The Licence holder of AgfaPhoto digital cameras has fully taken over the rights and patents of the Unomat brand and their range of products which includes lighting and cases will be on show at Photokina.
The new range of the accessory brand Unomat will be presented for the first time by plawa-feinwerktechnik at photokina 2008. The Uhingen-based company, already well-known as the exclusive licence holder of AgfaPhoto digital cameras, has fully taken over the rights and patents of the Unomat brand after the bankruptcy of the UNOMAT company. The internationally-renowned brand stands for high-end accessories in the photographic and video sector. Products from the lighting, power, tripod and bag and cases accessory sector will be presented at photokina.
For the amateur and professional photographer Unomat offers an extensive series of photographic lighting and filters ranging from fill-in lighting to studio lighting. For the mobile DC range, there is 20 to 35-Watt lighting, and in the static AC range, 300 to 1000 Watts available. Depending on the product there are features such as automatic brightness control or zoom and accessories such as lighting flaps and colour, conversation and floodlight filters contained in the package.
The extensive Unomat rechargeable battery range provides all necessary power. This includes Lithium and NiMH rechargeable batteries as well as chargers, which are are suitable for the latest camera types and brands. Adding to the line-up are the handy Unomaxx Mignon (AA-size) rechargeable batteries. They are delivered pre-charged and therefore immediately usable – without needing to be charged for a long time beforehand.
Tripods are a must for shake-free recording. Depending on the field of application, photo fans can choose between Unomat tabletop, one and three-legged tripods. They are stable and quickly ready for use in any situation. Rubber feet guarantee a sure stand. The tripod heads are especially easy to operate. The model may feature two pivoting and tilting adjustable handles. This guarantees the swift adjustment to suit the photographer's needs. Many Unomat tripods additionally have a quick-release plate and a bubble level for precise alignment. The quick-release plates allow movement over a large area.
The Unomat accessory portfolio is rounded off with camera bags and cases. Made from heavy-duty material, they are available in various sizes. In some models the inside compartment configurations can be adjusted. Users can keep their photo equipment safely and neatly arranged.
Dealers can view the Unomat range from 23rd through 28th of September, 2008 at photokina in Hall 3.1, booth D 031.
