Verbatim And Freecom 'Lighting' Competition Winners

The winners have been announced for our September Verbatim and Freecom Lighting competition.

The lucky winner of the package of £1500 worth of Verbatim and Freecom goodies, including storage devices, hard drives and LED lighting, was Dave_Henderson, with his image 'Hot and Cold'. The team at Verbatim felt this shot was amazing. They particularly like the imaginative use of LED technology and the effects created in the photo are very creative and artistic.


Dave was over the moon to have won the main prize. "I'm still in shock!" he said. "I've had quite a few of my entries in the past shortlisted, but to actually win one of these competitions is fantastic. It's really made my day. I still can't believe I've won!"

Dave isn't the only winner though, as two runners up also get a bundle full of memory and storage goodies, including Blu-ray disks and LED lighting, too. The two runners up are heatherb, and auroraepc.

Verbatim loved the drama captured within heatherb's image and the sense of shadow and light illuminating the shop window. A great idea for a composition, and very well executed.

              

Verbatim liked the use of LED technology in auroroaepc's image, to backlight the fruit and the vivid colours which are evident as a result. A worthy runner-up.
