There were a large number of "other" compact cameras on show, from Vivitar, VistaQuest, HP and AGFA to name a few, here's a quick look at some of them. Pricing, availability in your country, full specifications, and release dates may all need further investigation to find out if they are available, and what features they do or don't have.

Entry level compacts from Vivitar*:
The most interesting product here is the Mini Digital Camera that was shown inside a waterproof case, as well as with a bike mount, so that you can mount it onto your handle bars and use it as either a digital camera or video recorder. *Vivitar are no longer run by Vivitar, but were bought by Sakar who produce a number of licensed products, such as "Ben 10" digital cameras etc.

HP Digital Cameras at CES: These weren't being shown by HP, but rather were on display by other distributers, and like a lot of compact cameras aren't actually made by HP, but are simply licensing the name. (If you go to HP's website in the US and look to buy digital cameras, they sell Fujifilm cameras online!)

AGFAPhoto* Digital Cameras at CES:
These weren't being shown by AGFA, but rather were on display by other distributers. *AgfaPhoto is another name that has been licensed by another company in order to sell digital cameras with a more recognisable name.
