Press Release: Vivitar Vivicam 8320

Following on from Vivitar's success in 2007 with the limited edition gold 7500i, Vivitar have now launched the Vivicam 8320.

Formed with a slim metal body and polished off in a sleek black and chrome finish, this camera is packed with great extras such as anti-shake, pictbridge compatibility and 2Gb optional storage capacity.

The 8Mp CCD image sensor, partnered with the anti-shake facility enables you to create truly remarkable images, capable of significant enlargement. So not only does it look the part it actually delivers perfection too.

Vivitar's image conscious approach to photography means that cameras like the 7500i Limited Edition and now the 8320 are very popular with consumers.

Abbas Bhanji, chief Executive Officer of Vivitar UK said, “We will continue to acknowledge feedback from our customers and produce products that are refined in image capture, but are also trendy in terms of looks, for the young photography enthusiasts of today.”

Vivitar, who are celebrating their 70th birthday this year, and were renowned for their lenses and flash guns, have since moved to supplying the market with affordable digital compact cameras and other digital devices.

They enjoy global success with offices from the United States across to the Far East and with innovative products such as the 8320; they are sure set to be around for many years to come.

The Vivicam 8320 will be available from March 2008. For further information please visit the Vivitar website.
