It's time to announce the winners of the Wacom December 'Winter' competition.

We had loads of really stunning wintery images for this competition, and you really didn't make it easy to judge!

The lucky overall winner of the Intuos Pro M Tablet is ripleysalien; well done to you! The judges over at Wacom thought the mixture of daylight and the sun setting built up a nice contrast to the silhouetted tree and snowy landscape in the foreground. "The mountain, the shape of the tree and the colours of the sky form a perfect unity," they said.

Our two runners up and winners of a Intuos Pro S Tablet are mille19 and julesm, congratulations to you both!

The judges at Wacom thought mille19's image of a waxwing sat on a frosty branch created great contrast between the colourful bird and the wintery background of the scene.

They thought julesm's image of a frosty boat jetty in the river Deben had a great perspective and portrays the silent stillness of the river really well, while the sunset brings a warm atmosphere to the image.

A huge well done to our three winners, and congratulations to all those that made the shortlist, too! For more chances to win great prizes, take a look at the competitions page where this month you can win foliopic Advanced subscriptions and Vanguard tripods and bags!
