Wacom, the leading manufacturer of graphics tablets, is
to concentrate on a new communications strategy for the forthcoming year, to be
launched in spring 2002.
Within the framework of the newly aligned communications, Wacom will
concentrate on forming strategic relationships and working in conjunction with
industrial partners. The objective is to establish theme-specific and end-user
focused events such as road shows; increase customer contact; build on the
opportunities of working with graphic tablets within different applications; and
to demonstrate concrete solutions in the software and hardware arenas.
The new strategy also includes extending the network of distributors and
dealers across Europe. Wacom also plans to participate in company sponsored
trade fairs and hold its own distribution and dealer events.
As a result of both the new corporate strategy and the changed exhibition
concept for CeBIT 2002, Wacom will not be exhibiting at CeBIT 2002
(13.03.-20.03.2002) in Hannover.
