Wacom are replacing the Graphire with a mark 2 version.
The tablet comes
with a mouse and pen and is designed for consumers working with graphics,
drawing and image editing programs. The new version has a smaller and
lighter ergonomically improved mouse, a pressure sensitive pen and a
detacheable pen holder.
Wacom have produced a new driver 4.60 for the
Graphire2 that offers more features, improved performance and additional
flexibility through the control panels and application specific settings.
Users can now control mouse acceleration and speed settings independently
through easy to use panels. Buttons and switches of the pen and mouse can be
configured individually from within the driver and appled to applications so
each button can be assigned different task in different programs.
Bludau, product manager for consumer products at Wacom Europe said: "The Driver
offers users unparalleled levels of creative control and increased productivity.
The ability to combine shortcuts specific to applications with absolute control
of the input devices will improve the way people work."
