A helping hand from Wakefield Camera Club - During August, Wakefield Camera Club will be holding various workshops for those new to photography.

Wakefield Camera Club will be running Photographic Workshops every Monday evening at 7.30pm throughout August (except Bank Holiday). The workshops are aimed at people who are new to photography or have a new camera but not quite sure how to use it yet. Over a 4 week period Wakefield Camera Club aim to give you a better understanding of your digital camera, some tips on taking better pictures and share simple digital processing techniques. There is a £1 charge on the door per person, all are welcome. Workshops to be held at Wakefield City Club, Brunswick Street near Kirkgate Station.
August 3rd -Set ting up your Camera (John Bickerdike)
Dealing with basic controls and menus
August 10th - Taking Pictures (Nick Holowka)
A guide to composition
August 17th - Processing and Printing (Brian Holding)
Making the most of your pictures.
August 24th- Putting it all into Practice (John Gardner)
