Wideangle Zoom lens for Bronica SQ Cameras

Bronica has announced the release of the much anticipated zoom lens for the Bronica SQ-Ai, 6x6cm camera system. Developed after the success of the two current camera zoom lenses for the ETR-Si 6x4.5, the Zenzanon PS50-100mm f4-5.6 is the first zoom lens developed for the SQ range of cameras since the amalgamation of Tamron and Bronica.

The PS50-100 covers a wide range: equivalent to 27.5-55mm in 35mm SLR focal length and will become a versatile standard lens for the Bronica 6x6 format system, due to the compact size and the focal range.

2 large size hybrid aspherical lenses have been incorporated which reduce distortion throughout the zoom range and increase relative illumination. The front frame does not rotate, therefore allowing the use of a PL filter.

The PS50-100mm carries a suggested price of 1599.99 and will be available from April 2002
