It's your last chance to enter Twenty Four Hours In Bristol, a unique photographic competition that will celebrate one day in the life of the city of Bristol.
Taking place on 19 October 2013, up to 1000 photographers are invited to take a photo in an allocated time slot for their chance to win a first prize of £3000.
With more than £8,000 in prizes and an exhibition of 120 winning images in Bristol’s Guildhall Arts Centre from 9 November 2013, the competition will attract photographers from around the UK.
From Brunel’s buildings and ships to Banksy’s street art, Bristol has some of Britain's most recognisable landmarks as well as plenty of hidden gems. The bustling, diverse and historic city has much to offer - a vibrant street art scene, an active cafe culture, the medieval Old City, a 12th century Cathedral and a varied harbourside. Both for places and people Bristol offers creative opportunities 24 hours a day.
On registration via the 24 Hours In Bristol website, competition entrants will be randomly allocated a one-hour time slot during which they must take at least one entry photograph. Photographers are also welcome to enter up to five additional images taken any time during the 24-hour competition period on 19 October 2013.
