Black & White Competition Winning Image

Wish Tree by mister rainbow.

With over 2000 entries, the Park Cameras 'Black & White' Photography Competition was our most popular competition to date and there were plenty of amazing shots for the judges to look thorough!

136 images were shortlisted but there could only be one overall winner and that was Peter Ryan (mister rainbow) with Wish Tree. Here's what the judges had to say: "This photo really sums up black & white at its best. It has the look of a Henri Cartier Bresson and is well balanced with a perfectly timed expression. Wonder what he's wishing for?"

Peter walks away with a Canon EOS 550D + 18-55mm IS and a free place on an "Understanding your Digital SLR" School of Photography course courtesy of our sponsor Park Cameras.

Well done Peter and a big round of applause for all those who were shortlisted.

This month we have the new Olympus PEN E-P3 up for grabs in our Retro competition as well as Asukabook and Eye-Fi goodies waiting to be won. Visit the competition page now to enter.
