Remote release
Some will fire the shutter remotely – the receiving sensor is often on the front fascia of the camera body – but not lock open the shutter in the B (Bulb mode) setting. Check that if you want to do really long exposure photography.

Wimberley Plamp

Combat flare with the Wimberley Plamp. This flexible arm is designed to hold flowers in position for macro shooting but can also be pressed into service to hold a sheet of card (ideally, it should be black but that looked dull in the our picture) to shield the front of the lens from direct sunlight.
