I'm undecided about this book - part of me says it should have more technical information - there's a lack of what equipment was used and captions for pics are short. While the other half says you don't need technicalities...the pictures in this book do the job of providing inspiration and giving you fresh ideas for close ups.
The approach is quite radical...close ups with distant subjects also in frame to put the close up subject into perspective...some work really well others are disappointing. Overall if close-up photography is your thing and you want new ideas it's a good book. If you want to learn how to take close ups and what you need, look elsewhere.
