When I first came across this book my initial reaction was WHAT. Im not an underwater photographer and couldnt see why anyone would benefit from this over a typical digital photography guide, but as I turned the pages I soon began to see the benefits. This book written by two professional underwater journalists focuses on all the issues a diving photographer would have moving over to digital. It shows typical problems and how to correct them using Photoshop. You will learn how to remove backscatter (I even learned what backscatter was!) It explains in depth all the colour and contrast correction methods and suggests which to use and when. It goes on to show you how to use the clone tool to remove scratches and flaws too. The back part of the book looks at how you could create a presentation and slide show. And its all based around fish pictures. Overall a really well produced book that will be invaluable for the digital diver.
