Digital Photo Workflow Made Easy is a book designed to enable you to discover how to effortlessly organise and process all your pictures.

The book starts with the basics, looking at file types and explaining how they are different, before going on to look at caring for your flash cards and getting images off the cards, including those that may have accidentally been deleted, which is always a useful thing to know.

Also covered in this chapter is workflow software and how to import your photos in an orderly fashion, leading on to the second chapter, which is all about finding and organising your pictures once they are on your computer.

Looked at is star rating and evaluating your shots, smart workflow management, metadata and keywording, as well as ensuring you have a sufficient backup of your images if something goes wrong.

Also looked at in this book is image adjustment and processing. Covered is colour management, image appearance and basic adjustment techniques, including how to create HDR images and how to automate Lightroom and Photoshop to make certain adjustments to all images for you.

Lastly, the book covers working on the move, including using your phone or laptop to share images online and tips for using your image processing software on the move without access to the original files.

Overall, this book is a great idea for the photographer who is struggling to batch process images and is looking to create a foolproof way of getting through the digital workflow without any nasty surprises at the end. It is clear and concise, with plenty of diagrams to help you out along the way.
