A slightly shorter than A4 format book with great production values and a simple cover design. It's written by Steve Bavister who's well known in the photographic press as once Editor of Photo Answers magazine and current editor of The Photographer.
I can't quite work out RotoVision. The design of some books has larger than necessary type and this one has a smaller face that will get anyone over the age of 40 reaching for their specs. Other than that the 160 page book is full of pictures shot by advertising and commercial photographers and explains the difficulties they have had achieving the illustrated results. There are icons used to indicate, among other things, the camera used and exposure.
Some of the images lack inspiration but on the whole you'll obtain loads of practical info to help you be more creative with lighting so it does the job well.
