If you're looking for a comprehensive, straightforward guide on how to use your Nikon D300s you should take a look at this book.
The book covers the basics right through to more advanced advice for a user who's had their camera a while.
It has a bit of a school text book feel and there aren't many images to to illustrate the text but this is a small price to pay for the advice that's on offer.
It's easy to understand, simple to follow and for the price, you get a lot of useful words for your money.
