The book 'Northerners' is diverse in its audience and offers the reader an insight into Sefton Samuels personality, both through his photos and his descriptions. This book gives you both humour and art, and is easy to read and enjoy. The layout benefits from simplicity as you open up to any page and there's one of Samuels' impulse inflicted photographs followed by a brief and quirky explanation.
Personally, I think this book is well worth treating yourself, or maybe a loved one with, if you're looking for some photography presented in a lighthearted manner; with the focus more on the story behind the picture.
