Photographing the elements has some truly stunning images inside its pages.
The elements are a key part in everybody's life, and so to capture them at their most expressive makes for wonderful photos.
The book covers all the elements, earth air, fire and water. In each of these sections, different aspects of each element are covered, complete with the best equipment to take with you for the trip. You may think that the book is full of volcanoes and other spectacular sights that most people will never be able to photograph, but you'd be wrong. There are exotic things, like sink holes and tornadoes, but as well as these there are a lot of things accessible to everyone, like the stars and waterfalls.
Each chapter begins by explaining a bit about each element, and what it has to offer in terms of photography. It then goes on to talk about a number of specific aspects of that element, complete with a list of what you'll need to photograph that subject and a whole host of hints and tips about techniques and equipment.
This book is definitely one for the adventurer photographer, who wants to know what is out there in the world. It is also great visually, and it has some truly stunning natural pictures that will inspire you to get out and see what the world has to offer.
