The cover is well designed and the title promises an interesting read, but that's where the good bit ends. Open the book and it has a frustrating layout that makes you feel cheated. Each page has approx 1/3rd as white space. While this allows pics to have captions dropped into this area it looks as though someone forgot to crop the book which could have been a5 size, rather than nearly A4.
The structure of the book is good, taking you though the scanning process logical, but I couldn't help thinking the info was hardly more advanced than the manuals that come with the scanners or could have been summarised in a magazine article. As you can see not a book I could get entusiastic about. And as the owner appears to have a Nikon scanner there's no mention of how to scan using Minolta or Canon products.
