The work of Bob Carlos Clarke has appeared in just about every photographic magazine and his unique style of photography has shocked, inspired or teased us for over three decades. Now we can find out what really makes this genius tick. The book is a self-published project - no UK publisher would dare to take it on. The pictures are, at times, explicit (almost hardcore), while others are superbly crafted works of fine art. It's a collection that covers Bob's career path from the 60's to present day and includes personal and commissioned works, with everything from sleaze to coffee table fashion. The images are supported with a self-biographical text that, in places, is highly amusing, in others sad and in parts extremely rude. We learn about him being packed off to boarding school at eight, his first voyeuristic experience and his meeting with the famous, such as Princess Diana, all interspersed with useful tips and anecdotes on photographing women. It's a fascinating insight into the mind of a man who's addicted to sex and not afraid to admit it. The book is hardback and limited to 3500 copies in the UK. It has 176 pages and is a 29x33cm format. Each book is individually signed by the author and is sure to be a collector's item. A highly entertaining read with a visual feast of lovely girls in various states of undress. To order click on the buy link to go to the web site or phone +44 (0)1564 795745.
